The kids and their dad love to jump on the trampoline together, so when I was picking the grapes yesterday I thought I'd get some shots of them having fun.....
Just wait til Little Miss Cora can get on there and join in!

This years green grape harvest. Sweet, juicy and ripe for the picking. Most have gone into the freezer as you can get sick of them quite quickly. I'm sure we'll enjoy them like the little frozen sweets they will become. I should maybe start planning to home brew our own vintage next year.
Meanwhile as the grapes have grown to harvest, this little Missy Moo is growing too; much too fast for my liking.
She's a little delight.

Introducing Cora
This little bundle of joy arrived almost 3 weeks ago. Our third child and a sister for Leo and Ella. Of all the babies, she's the most settled and relaxed. She's feeding really well and has put on almost a kilo in 2 and a half weeks; I must be doing something right!
Sister Ella is very taken with her and Leo....well, let's just say he's warming to her now, but it's only taken, oh...two weeks!
Welcome to the world little one. Long may your chillaxedness continue.

I made a quilt!!
Yes, I did! I have impressed myself. It's finished. It's not perfect, but I am thrilled with it for a first attempt. So much so that I've started stashing fabric for a larger project....queen size bed throw. You might be waiting a while for the finished photo of that one.
This looks so sweet in the white cot for the baby. Due date a week on Monday and still no sign of imminent arrival, although my midwife doesn't seem to think I will need the appointment scheduled for two days after my due date. BUT, I always hope for the best and plan for the worst, so.....
Talking of babies.....here's a couple of photo's of my precious boy taken today. He's going to be three on Wednesday, the day after my 34th birthday. He's the cutest little monkey ever, always makes me smile. Where have the last three years gone?
Happy third birthday little man. Mwah!

Finishing streak
I've been absent for a few weeks as I've been nesting (3 weeks to go yesterday) and on a finishing crafty streak...that and just plain tired too.
I've been getting the kids wardrobes organised for the warmer weather. Ella needed more t-shirts and I've been keen to applique something for quite a while, so asked her what she'd like on her new plain t-shirts. Butterfly....no problem...and her name on the other. Took a bit longer, but got there in the end. No photo of the name I'm afraid.
This t-shirt isn't quite finished as i've still to stitch around it, i'll get there this week.
Knitting the cardi for baby. First size, again got excited and took pictures before completely finished as no buttons, but you get the gist, right? The bamboo was nice to knit with but it's really very stretchy, so knitting up the neck and piecing arms on was a bit tricky. Thank goodness I'm not a perfectionist.
And last but not least, my cot quilt for baby. Can you see the theme....again, not finished but almost. Just the binding to do and my lovely friend and teacher over at Plot to Plate will be taking us for our final lesson on this next Tuesday. I got very sick of looking at this for a while, but now I'm just excited that I've nearly finished it and that I like it! I'll use the aqua blue spots material to do the binding.
So really, now apart from fitting in afternoon snoozes and getting organised, we're just waiting for this baby girl to pop out. Nameless as we've not agreed on a name yet. All suggestions are being welcomed and considered.
So I may be back with completely finished photographs before I'm posting pictures of our new baby, meantime....here's a pic of the bump as it stands today.

Rain rain go away....or maybe don't...
It's been raining all night, and it's still raining now. The garden needs it, and now it's getting milder you can see everything starting to grow. I'm quite looking forward to a nice Spring and better Summer.
I dropped the car off to the radiator guy this morning to have my A/c looked at as it's been acting up for, well, let's just say forever. I don't want to go through another Summer of not being cool in the car when driving. So I'm having a day at home, which is a good thing. Only just under 7 weeks of this third pregnancy to go. The past few weeks i've been getting loads of braxton hicks when I do even the smallest things. Last the midwife checked the baby was fully engaged, so she's suggested that I take it as easy as I possibly can.
Take it easy? Doesn't she know me at all? Well, i'm trying.
A batch of bolognese to go into the freezer. Thought I should start stock piling those all important go-to meals for when baby arrives.
Do you like them? Bought myself some flowers on Sunday, I'm loving the colour.
Oh! Look what arrived today :) It's only taken us a few months to decide on what to get and how much to spend.
I made bread dough with this method yesterday, so popped a loaf in the oven to go with the bolognese we'll have for tea tonight.

I haven't spent all my time in the kitchen, I did sit down to try and finish this for baby. I'm getting there, just the sleeve, neck and then sew up to do. It's been slow progress, but when I put my mind to it, it gets done.
Master L been sleeping so well this week, it's funny how he's been so unsettled at night for almost 3 years and now suddenly is sleeping through...go figure :) Of course, I can't get comfy at night and am up regularly to go to the loo (sorry if tmi), so i'm still tired.
*yawn* think i'll go have my nana nap now....zzzz
